Case Studies & Original Data
Linkable assets with real scan statistics, experiment summaries, and downloadable CSVs to cite in articles and reports.
Overview
These case studies summarize measured outcomes from real-world QR code deployments and controlled A/B tests. Data is provided as aggregated statistics; where possible we include raw CSV downloads for linking and reuse.

Case Study 1 — Restaurant Digital Menu
A mid-sized cafe replaced printed flyers with QR-linked PDF menus distributed on table tents and receipts. Key outcomes measured over 6 weeks:
- Scans per day (baseline): 12 → (with QR on table tents): 28 (+133%)
- Average time on menu (seconds): 18 → 46
- Orders attributed to QR scans: 9% of daily sales

Case Study 2 — Retail Shelf Labels (A/B Test)
A retail test compared two shelf-label variants: A) QR code only; B) QR code + short CTA button and value proposition. Test ran for 14 days across equivalent stores.
| Variant | Scans | Scan→Conversion |
|---|---|---|
| A — QR only | 420 | 2.1% |
| B — QR + CTA | 715 | 3.7% |
Result: Variant B increased scans by 70% and conversion by ~76% (relative). Guidance: include clear micro-copy and a short incentive where possible.

Data & Methodology
All scan counts were collected from short-link analytics (where used) or device access logs aggregated to protect privacy. A/B tests used random assignment by store or SKU group and ran for a minimum two-week window to reduce seasonality noise.
