v1.0.4
Latest
September 29, 2026
- Security, detection, and stability improvements from a full codebase audit — a wide sweep of hardening across the CVE matcher, YARA scanner, network monitor, and hardening recommender pipelines.
- Version-aware CVE matching (v1.0.3) — CVE alerts now respect the installed application version rather than flagging a fixed version as still vulnerable.
- "What's New" modal (v1.0.3) — on first launch after each update, a modal surfaces what changed since your previous version.
- Minor stability improvements (v1.0.2).
v1.0.1
May 2026
- CVE scanning against a locally synced National Vulnerability Database (NVD) snapshot
- AI threat advisor powered by your own API key (OpenAI, OpenRouter, or local Ollama)
- One-click Windows hardening with per-recommendation explanations
- YARA-based malware scanning on demand
- Real-time process tree inspection and suspicious process flagging
- Network connection monitoring
- Zero cloud dependency — all scanning and analysis runs locally

v1.0.7
Latest
September 29, 2026
- Stability release: fixed main-thread network blocking during telemetry sends, a wake-lock threading race condition, and several battery / tray icon rendering bugs on high-DPI displays.
- Debug symbols now shipped with the release build, and
catch_unwindwrapped around the tao event loop handlers so panics are logged and surfaced instead of silently crashing the tray (v1.0.6). - Stronger MSIX autostart detection with a Settings fallback path when the packaged autostart API is unavailable (v1.0.5).
- Autostart fix for MSIX Store installs (v1.0.3).
- Anonymous telemetry: stable per-install user ID and session-start tracking to inform reliability work — no personal data collected (v1.0.1).
v1.0.0
May 2026
- One-click wake lock toggle from the system tray
- Live battery percentage display
- Live drain rate in %/hr — updates continuously
- Charging state awareness (plugged in vs. charging vs. draining)
- High-drain process alerts with per-app battery impact
- Native Windows autostart toggle
- Session-scoped wake — no permanent changes to Power Plan
- Rust-native via Tauri — minimal CPU and memory overhead

v1.3.5
Latest
August 9, 2026
- Reliability and audit-accuracy sweep spanning v1.3.1 through v1.3.5 — smarter error surfacing, better handling of locked-down target sites, and sharper Site Audit classifications.
- Provider validation now surfaces real Anthropic and OpenRouter API errors from
validate_providerinstead of generic failures — you see exactly what went wrong (v1.3.5). - Ollama "model not found" errors and bare-domain audit failures now give actionable messages instead of silent dead ends (v1.3.4).
- Site Audit no longer merges redirected pages into duplicate-title checks — a 301 source and its destination are correctly treated as the same page, eliminating false "Dup Title" warnings on legitimately well-configured safety-net redirects (v1.3.3).
- Site Audit separates stale "Removed URL" 404s from real broken links — URLs that previously existed but are no longer linked anywhere on the current site surface in their own category instead of inflating the broken-link count (v1.3.2).
- Page Analysis now shows a pre-flight warning when the target site is known to block automated requests (Cloudflare bot protection, reCAPTCHA, etc.), giving you a heads-up before the audit fails (v1.3.1).
- Page Analysis automatically falls back to a headless Chromium browser when the direct HTTP fetch returns 403, 429, or 503 — audits now succeed on sites that previously failed with rate limits or bot blocks (v1.3.1).
- Enterprise licensing link removed from the splash (consolidated into the Settings → License flow).
- Sidebar ad block restyled to match the Vexifa Cyber Secure product design.
v1.3.0
June 7, 2026
- Optional support subscription switched from a Microsoft Store in-app purchase to a $19/year PayPal subscription. The app stays a free Microsoft Store download — only the optional subscription moved to PayPal.
- Subscribe on a PayPal page, then activate in-app from Settings → License by pasting your PayPal subscription or transaction ID.
- Licensing is now a fully local, offline check: the ID is stored on your device and never transmitted, the check makes no network call, and activation is valid for one year.
v1.0.1
May 25, 2026
- Pricing model change: free Windows download with every feature unlocked, plus an optional $19.99/year Microsoft Store support subscription. No feature gates, no page caps, no Pro tier.
- 60-day silent grace period after first install. A small launch reminder appears thereafter — the Continue button enables after 5 seconds. The optional support subscription removes the reminder.
- Microsoft Store IAP integration via the Windows.Services.Store API.
- API keys at rest now encrypted with Windows DPAPI.
- Site Audit AI analysis now persists across sessions — no more re-running to re-read.
- Fix: API keys no longer lost on app restart.
- Fix: EULA re-prompt on every launch is resolved — accept once and never see it again.
- Fix: Page Analysis HTTP 429 rate-limit errors via browser-like request headers and automatic retry-on-rate-limit.
- Fix: word count extraction now walks the DOM excluding script, style, and noscript content for accurate counts.
- Refreshed app icon.
