1. Free Tier
Vexifa's free tier is permanently free. No credit card is required to download or use free-tier features. Because no payment is ever taken, no refund is applicable.
2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
If you purchase any paid Vexifa plan (currently Vexifa PDF Suite Pro) and are not satisfied for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase date.
- The 30-day window begins on the date of your first successful payment, as recorded by Lemon Squeezy.
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method.
- No reason is required. We may ask for optional feedback to improve the product, but your refund will not be withheld pending your response.
- The refund covers the full amount paid — there are no processing fees deducted.
3. Renewals
The 30-day guarantee applies to your first payment only. Subsequent renewal charges — whether monthly or annual — are not eligible for refund under this guarantee.
To avoid being charged for a renewal you do not want, cancel your subscription before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from the Lemon Squeezy customer portal linked in your purchase confirmation email, or by contacting us. Cancellation stops future billing; your Pro access remains active through the end of the paid period.
4. Exceptions
The following situations are handled outside the standard 30-day window:
- Duplicate charges: If you were charged more than once for the same subscription period due to a billing error, we will refund the duplicate charge in full regardless of when it is reported. Contact us with your Lemon Squeezy order numbers.
- Charges after cancellation: If you were billed after a confirmed cancellation, we will refund that charge in full. Contact us with your cancellation confirmation and the charge date.
- Fraudulent charges: If your payment method was used without your authorization, contact your bank or card issuer immediately and then contact us. We will cooperate fully with any chargeback or fraud investigation.
5. What Happens After a Refund
When a refund is processed, your account reverts to the free tier. Pro features are deactivated at the time of refund, not at the end of the original billing period. Your documents, annotations, and locally stored files are not affected — they remain on your machine and are fully accessible under the free tier.
Your Pro license slot is released and you may re-subscribe at any time. A second subscription is not covered by the 30-day guarantee.
6. How to Request a Refund
Email contact@vexifa.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- The email address used to purchase
- Your Lemon Squeezy order number (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- The date of purchase
Refund requests are processed within 3 business days. The time for funds to appear in your account depends on your bank or card issuer, typically 5–10 business days after processing.
7. Billing Platform
All Vexifa paid plans are billed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as the merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy handles payment processing, invoicing, and refund disbursement. For billing questions not addressed here, you can also contact Lemon Squeezy directly at lemonsqueezy.com/help.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your refund eligibility for that transaction.
