At Vexifa, our primary architectural mandate is absolute privacy. We believe that cloud-based SaaS models inherently compromise user data security by acting as central honey-pots. Because of this, we process software differently.
This Privacy Policy outlines what information we do (and importantly, do not) collect when you use the Vexifa SEO and Vexifa EMP desktop applications (the "Software") and our main corporate website, vexifa.com.
1. Desktop Application Privacy (Offline Processing)
Vexifa applications operate as native executables strictly on your local hardware.
- No Cloud Storage: When you perform a search engine crawl, store backlink profiles, construct an email marketing list, or generate content using AI, that data is processed and stored entirely locally on your machine, typically in SQLite databases.
- No Project Data Logging: We do not track the URLs you crawl. We do not index the contacts you upload to the EMP. We do not monitor the prompts you feed into the AI generators. Your work data stays entirely on your machine.
- API Interaction: If you connect a third-party API (like OpenAI, OpenRouter, or AWS SES), your data is transmitted securely from your desktop directly to that third-party provider. It does not route through Vexifa servers.
2. Data We Do Collect
While your project data is never accessible to us, we do collect the following:
- Anonymous Website Analytics: When you visit vexifa.com, we collect anonymized traffic metrics (such as page views or general geographic region) solely for the purpose of improving website flow.
- Crash and Bug Reports: All Vexifa applications automatically send anonymized crash and bug reports to help us identify and fix stability issues. No project data, file contents, contact lists, or personally identifiable information is included in these reports.
- Usage Statistics: All Vexifa applications collect anonymous usage statistics (such as feature interaction counts and session duration) to inform product development priorities. These statistics contain no content from your projects and cannot be traced back to an individual.
3. Third-Party Data Sharing
Because we do not inherently possess your project data, we have nothing to sell. We fundamentally reject the advertising-revenue and data-brokering models.
We only share administrative data with trusted, essential third-party service providers (like Resend) solely for the purpose of delivering software updates or replying to support inquiries.
Regarding these Beta applications: since your data never leaves your computer, data retention is entirely governed by you. Deleting a project folder or uninstalling Vexifa wipes the slate clean permanently.
Regarding analytics: you may request the deletion of any associated data by contacting our support team.
4. Google API Services
Vexifa SEO uses Google OAuth 2.0 to optionally connect to Google Search Console and Google Analytics. This integration is entirely opt-in — the software functions fully without it.
Data accessed
- Google Search Console: Search analytics data including queries, impressions, clicks, average position, and URL inspection results for properties you own or manage.
- Google Analytics: Aggregate traffic metrics including sessions, users, bounce rate, and page-level performance data from properties you have access to.
How this data is used
Data retrieved from Google APIs is used exclusively to populate your local Vexifa SEO dashboard — for rank tracking cross-validation, content gap analysis, and GSC keyword data. It is never transmitted to Vexifa servers, never shared with third parties, never used for advertising purposes, and never sold.
Token storage
OAuth 2.0 access and refresh tokens are stored exclusively in the local SQLite database on your own machine. Tokens are never uploaded to or processed by any Vexifa server.
Revoking access
You can disconnect the Google integration at any time from within Vexifa SEO's Settings panel. You may also revoke access independently at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Revoking access immediately prevents any further data retrieval and removes stored tokens from your local database.
Google API Services User Data Policy
Vexifa SEO's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
5. Changes to This Policy
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of any significant changes via the corporate website during the Beta period.
