1. Free Applications
Vexifa applications are free to download and use, with every feature unlocked. No credit card is required, and no payment is ever taken for the application itself. Because no payment is taken, no refund is applicable for the app itself — this section only covers the optional support subscription described below.
2. PayPal Subscription Refunds (Optional Support Subscription)
Vexifa PDF Suite's optional support subscription is sold via PayPal at $19/year. Vexifa is the merchant of record for this subscription and handles refund requests directly through PayPal under this policy.
- Where to request: Email contact@vexifa.com with your PayPal subscription or transaction ID and we will process eligible refunds through PayPal.
- How long it takes: We typically respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds return to your original PayPal payment method on PayPal's settlement schedule.
- Cancelling vs. refunding: To stop future charges, you can cancel the subscription yourself at any time from your PayPal account (see section 3). A refund of a past charge is handled directly by Vexifa per this policy.
3. Cancelling a Subscription
To stop future renewal charges, cancel from your PayPal account: sign in to PayPal, open your automatic payments / subscriptions, find your Vexifa subscription, and cancel it. The subscription benefit (no launch reminder) remains through the end of the current paid period. After it expires, the application keeps working with every feature unlocked — only the brief launch reminder returns.
4. When You Have a Billing Problem
Because Vexifa is the merchant of record for the PDF Suite subscription, you contact us directly at contact@vexifa.com with the subject line "Refund Request" and include:
- Your PayPal subscription or transaction ID (from your PayPal account activity)
- The Vexifa product the subscription is for
- A short description of the issue
We can help directly in the following situations:
- Bug-caused unusability: If a confirmed defect in our software made the app unusable during your subscription period, we can issue a refund or goodwill credit through PayPal.
- Duplicate charges from billing errors: If a billing error caused you to be charged twice, contact us — we can verify the duplicate and refund it through PayPal.
- Fraudulent charges: If your PayPal payment method was used without your authorization, contact PayPal and your bank immediately. Notify us so we can cancel the subscription and assist with the refund.
5. What Happens After a Refund
When a refund is processed and the subscription is cancelled, your subscription entitlement is revoked. The next time the app launches, it will see that the subscription is no longer active, and the brief launch reminder returns. The app itself continues to work with every feature unlocked — your documents, annotations, and locally stored files are not affected. You may re-subscribe at any time via PayPal.
6. Billing Platform
The optional Vexifa PDF Suite subscription is billed through PayPal, with Vexifa as the merchant of record. PayPal handles payment processing while Vexifa is responsible for invoicing, refunds, and handling billing questions for this subscription. For billing questions, email contact@vexifa.com. Vexifa does not store your full card details; payment is processed securely through PayPal.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. The policy in effect at the time of your purchase governs your refund eligibility for that transaction.
